Now that Jay Owenhouse has played the Columbia Theatre in Longview, Washington, despite the pre-show protests of animal rights activists upset over his use of tigers, The Daily News takes a further look at what is best for the tigers.

We don’t know Jay although we have exchanged an email or two over the past couple of years. We have no reason to believe anything except that he has the best intentions when it comes to his tigers. Check out his blog to read some of his thoughts as he dealt with a recent injury suffered by one of his tigers… actually one of the tigers featured in the video above from back in 2010 when Shekina and Sheena were cubs.

Richard Jones took top honors on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2016, the only magician to do so. He sat down with the Dorsett Echo this week to talk about his transition from the military to magic and more.

Look up tonight at the moon… that may be the repository of David Copperfield’s magical secrets. According to TechCrunch, a recent probe sent to the moon by Israel failed, but it carried several experimental high endurance long term storage devices. One held Copperfield’s secrets but we do not know if it survived.

Smoke and Mirrors, an exhibit looking at the history of magic and its connections to psychology, has opened in London. Both ArtDaily and Time Out have articles looking at the exhibit at the Wellcome Collection.

A new masked magician has appeared on television, but this Britain’s Got Talent performer seems to be more in the mysterious L’Homme Masque vein than the effect spoiling Fox TV special type. And just who is he… or she? According to this Extra.ie article (via MSN) maybe it is a return on a recent contestant!

Finally, The Daily News reports how the management of the Columbia Theatre in Longview, WA refused to buckle to pressure from animal rights activists and went on with a performance by Jay Owenhouse and his tigers.
