Last night’s Academy of Magical Arts Awards started with a special fellowship bestowed upon Lisa Menna for her extraordinary work in magic. The short video presented above is from 2010 and shows Lisa using magic to make connections among the people in Papua, New Guinea.

The MDA Telethon YouTube page recently shared this 1991 clip featuring Jerry Lewis introducing the first lady of magic Melinda Saxe, who was then performing simply as Melinda. Melinda was a mainstay in the early 1990s big network magic specials and recently performing in Vegas today as a part of the V Ultimate Variety Show.
