Arthur Worsley And Charlie Brown

From way back in 1957 comes this performance of Arthur Worsley and friend… two interesting things about this clip. One, it is from the same episode which saw Elvis Presley’s last appearance on the show. The other is that British ventriloquist Worsley does not speak, letting his figure Charlie Brown get all the dialogue!

Piff AWOL On AGT Results Shows

Darci Lynne returned to the America’s Got Talent stage for last night’s results show. Unfortunately, Piff the Magic Dragon, who was originally announced to be on the show, did not make an appearance and was replaced by a dance group. Daredevil escape artist Jonathan Goodwin narrowly squeaked through with th popular vote and on to the next round.

With America’s Got Talent: The Champions returning tonight, we took a moment to look at what is going on with the international versions of the Got Talent franchise. The latest edition of France’s Got Talent just ended and this performance by singing ventriloquist Capucine was enough to push her to the top. There were no magic acts in the finals from what we could determine.

Perhaps best known today as the spokesman for Nestle, Jimmy performed with “partners” Danny O’Day and Farfel the Dog on his own show, Ed Sullivan and even as a game show host. The only magic on last night’s edition of America’s Got Talent was Dom Chambers’ officially leaked performance (which we shared here)… Michael Paul did appear with his ventriloquism act but he is not the Arizona based magician, and master of the card under drink, Michael Paul. Still, it is always good to pull for the sister arts, right?
