Rumor: All But One Of The Pendragon Road Cases On Storage Auction Block Are Empty

Posted by Editor on January 5th, 2011 Magic News, Magic Videos and Podcasts.jpg

We’ve received word from a reliable source that the storage unit filled with road cases owned by the Pendragons set to be auctioned off by the storage unit owners to cover a delinquent bill could be just that. And only that.

All but one of them, which have not been touched by the owners of the facility before they are sold to the highest bidder, are totally empty. Again, this is only a rumor but it is from a source that has been right before, so take it with a grain of salt.

It does add another element of chance to any planning on bidding on the contents. Magic Week In Review: 05.23.10

Details of Pendragon Hearing Released

Posted by Webb on October 24th, 2009

The Santa Maria Times has account of the events that led up to the arrest of Johnathan Yarbrough (Johnathan Pendragons real name) that were made public on Friday following testimony at his preliminary hearing.

The world-famous illusionist allegedly told his wife he was going to shoot her before he fired a gun at her feet during an argument in early July at their rural Arroyo Grande home. Charlotte Yarbrough, also known by her stage name Charlotte Pendragon said:

His words were something like, ‘OK, this is it. If you don’t tell me who your (expletive) boyfriend is, it’s over. My husband slapped me really hard, threw me on the bed, pulled out a gun and threatened me. He said he’d shoot my feet first, then my knees and move up my body

San Luis Obispo County Superior Court Judge John Trice ruled at the hearing’s end that enough evidence exists to require Jonathan Yarbrough to stand trial. If convicted on all charges, Jonathan could face a maximum sentence of more than a decade in prison.

Charlotte Yarbrough, testified that on July 8, she and her husband were fighting about money and a boyfriend he incorrectly assumed she had. The couple have been married 33 years.

Jonathan Yarbrough will be formally arraigned on the charges against him Nov. 3. He remains in custody at County Jail without bail.
