Today, the staff member is Dezrah and the video is Theatrics FTW…
“We’ve seen what strong character can do for your act, how about refreshing the presentation? Here Barry and Stuart take some simple effects and give them new life with an offbeat and surreal story about a magician’s nightmare.”
This video is only one of nearly 2,000 available at the newly revamped iTricks.TV.
What looks to be part of the Channel 4 3D special from 2009, is an awesome version of the classic razor blade illusion by Barry & Stuart. BEWARE: there are two explicit words contained herein. WATCH AT YOUR OUR RISK.
Our favorite blood splattered magic duo, Barry and Stuart are set to appear at the Soho Theatre in London next March.
The BAFTA nominated stars of Channel 4’s ‘Dirty Tricks’, ‘Tricks from the Bible’ and ‘3D Magic Spectacular’ show you where you should never stick a polo mint, spill the secret to the ultimate party trick and how to impress a date with a razor-sharp needle.
Described by Derren Brown as ‘The most consistently original, creative and exciting force in British magic’ tickets are a mere £12 via The Soho Theatre site
Head on over to World Magic Awards website (Beware: autoplay) to see a highlights package of show’s past and present. With our untrained eye, we could spot clips of Barry and Stuart, Marco Tempest and The Twins which must be from the show that will air on MyTV this Thanksgiving.
Most of the other clips are from last year’s broadcast hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.
If you’d like to see Barry and Stuart, Derren Brown, Pete Firman and Marco Tempest in all three dimensions on your television, please do your shopping at Sainsbury’s. They are the location for you to snag the spectacles you’ll need to witness the Channel 4 3D magic special in all of its glory.
Thanks to Barry and Stuart for the tip via their Twitter.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this a reality including David Nott, Barry & Stuart, Michael Shermer, Phil Plait, Penn Jillette, Teller and David Copperfield. Very special thanks to Brandon of the JREF for making sure this happened and, of course, to James Randi for allowing us the space and making a very special cameo at the beginning.
