Max Krause dropped into the KASA Fox 2 studios in Albuquerque yesterday for a little April Fool’s Day magic.
Speaking of April Fool’s Day, yesterday’s story about The Naked Mentalist’s new kids’ show was, of course, a joke. iTricks would like to thank him for playing along. Everything else we posted yesterday was legit (as far as we know).
Digital Spy’s Soap Opera News is reporting that Josie Lawrence (best known in the US for the British version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? or Enchanted April) is returning to EastEnders, but not as the character she played for a few years ago. Instead, she will be Susie Vine, a magician with a past she’d like to forget. Her episode will appear this summer.
The New York Times caught Vinnie DePonto’s Charlatan and gave it a fairly positive review. Unfortunately, when the reviewer was there the show had a little technical problem. On the bright side, though, they did compare him to Ricky jay and that is always good!
Speaking of Ricky Jay, The Tonight Show has not seen fit to post clips of his appearance the other night. It is available on Hulu and NBC.com, though. Netflix and Hulu Plus subscribers can catch Deceptive Practice: The Mysteries and Mentors of Ricky Jay streaming on those services.
Finally, Neil Patrick Harris’ love of magic is getting more and more mainstream attention and features in his new YoCrunch Yogurt commercial.
