Mat Franco and Tianna Scartabello were wed in a ceremony last Thursday. We would like to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Franco and wish them all the best in their new life! You can see pictures of the happy couple on the People Magazine website.

Murray SawChuck is out and about doing live shows; he played Milwaukee over the weekend and appeared on the local Fox affiliate to promote the show last week. Finally, Brad Brown is performing a benefit show for victim’s of the recent Dayton, Ohio tornado this Saturday night in Vandalia, Ohio. You can read more about it on the Vandalia Drummer News site and get tickets here.

Mat Franco visited the Steve Harvey talkshow Steve earlier this week to help celebrate Halloween and National Magic Week. I wish we saw Mat on TV more often… I really hope he ends up on the new entry in the America’s Got Talent franchise next year.

America’s Got Talent has launched a new series of web clips called AGT’s Talent University, starting with this video featuring season 9 winner, Vegas headliner and friend of Mat Franco teaching a couple basic magic tricks.

Speaking of America’s Got Talent, this week’s officially leaked clip did not feature a magic act, but according to The Oklahoman’s NewsOK website Rob Lake will be appearing tonight.

The Naples News has an interview with mentalist and AGT alum Wayne Hoffman.

Forbes has a feature on Santiago Michel, the mentalist/magician behind the first all-Spanish language show on the Vegas Strip.

Finally, the AP reported over the weekend jan Rouven’s attempt to withdraw his guilty plea in his federal child pornography case was denied. You can read their coverage on several newspaper sites, including the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
