We say goodbye to 2021 with this performance uniting two AGT champions, Mat Franco and Dustin Tavella. We can only wonder what 2022 will bring magic, both on and off television.
It has been fun, but it is goodbye for now. I hope all y’all iTricksters go out and have a great, but safe, New Year’s weekend.
The first magician to win America’s Got TalentMat Franco joined Dustin Tavella last night on the AGT finale. Mat was not the only magic alum to appear; Piff the Magic Dragon also showed up in a bit with comedian Josh Blue (advising the comic to lose, saying it was the best thing that ever happened to him).
Although Léa Kyle did not perform on the finale, she joined Dustin in the top five, finishing fifth.
Brett Loudermilk squeaked through last night’s America’s Got Talent results to the next round. Johnathan Goodwin will be on next week’s live show… and speaking of last night, past champ Mat Franco was back to add a little magic to the night.
Mat Franco is out on the streets doing magic in this clip from 2016, back when you could actually stand next to people. Don’t forget Mat is giving a free magic show on Facebook this afternoon at 5 PM Pacific Time (which is 8 PM Eastern Time); you have to like his Facebook page.
