The Hollywood Reporter is reporting the film based on William Kalush and Larry Sloman’s Secret Life Of Houdini is moving forward with Ben Affleck in a starring role, but not as Harry himself.

I will admit I forget about the Smithsonian Channel… I had it for a couple years, it disappeared from my provider, then it returned. But last night while flipping through channels I ran across the new series The Curious Life And Death Of… which just happened to be featuring Harry Houdini. The episode will be replayed a couple times this Friday night (October 9) and it may or may not show up on CBS All Access soon as Smithsonian is one of the channels recently added to the service.
