2010 is upon us and we feel like we’ve gone long enough without you. Yes, you. You reading this thinking that your favorite magic news site would never speak directly from your screen into your heart.

We are looking to fill the following roles:

International Reporters that would post once a week about magic issues or acts that we silly Americans might not otherwise see. Specifically in Western Europe (preferably in France/Spain/Portugal etc.), South or Central America and Australia/New Zealand.

iTricks.TV Researchers who would find us one magic video per week that we do not already have and upload it to the site. You also get to be featured on the front page of the site in our iTricks.TV Pick of the Week.

Podcast/Livestream Assistant which would help coordinate guests and learn how to set-up and run all of our downloadable and interactive content. Interest in the technical backside of the operation is a major plus.

Please email us at iTricksStaff@Gmail with your interest and we hope to hear from you soon. Yes, still you.

Happy Trails To Weekend Webb

Posted by Editor on December 19th, 2009

It is with a heavy heart that we say good bye to Andrew Webb as the iTricks Weekend Editor. Our UK branch is taking a leave of absence to focus on personal matters. We wish him all the best and hope to see him involved in the site again at some point in the future.

We will debut our new Weekend Editor next week. But for now, we’d like to wish Andrew W the best of luck and a Happy Christmas.

Cheers buddy.

Farraday’s Big Weekend

Posted by Zach on September 19th, 2009

Hello there everyone! Farraday here. Justin called me a few days ago and asked me to take over iTricks for the weekend. So here I am. I’ll be writing the posts, finding the news, moderating the comments, and bringing the world of magic straight through the intertubes to your personal screen (I hand deliver each and every story to all of your computers. I’m a modern day magical Santa Claus).

To start us off, I thought I’d give you some idea of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes here at iTricks. So I got a transcript of JuRY’s phone call to me, and put it up after the break. I think it should let you see the kind of dedication we have to our mission. It should also give you a quick intro to who I am and what I do here, should you be blissfully unaware.

But for now, enjoy the site for the weekend! Here’s hoping I can fill Justin’s massive, hairy shoes.

If You Like iTricks, Try Weird Things

Weird Things.jpg

Esteemed iTricks Editor Justin Robert Young has a new job! Weird Things.com. Of course, he will continue to bring the heat everyday with magic news right here but now you enjoy even more JRY.

Weird Things.com is the place where science and fiction meet. Would you like to know how many fingers Bigfoot has? How about reading over a checklist designed to confirm if you’re being haunted or simply having a panic attack? Would you like to see footage of 2,000 bees attacking a major league baseball outfielder?

It’s all on Weird Things.com, now with 98% more Justin Robert Young!
