Dynamo produced a betting slip which noted he bet £1 on Spain -2 goals on June 21st, just as the quarterfinals began. At that time the wager came off at 10,000 to 1 odds.
Appearing on This Morning yesterday, Dynamo showed presenters Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield how he guessed the winner of every match correctly.
Holding up a betting slip as proof of the 10,000-1 gambit the illusionist had even forecast how Spain would win by two or more goals against their Italian rivals.
Dyanmo donated the coin to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
It’s very hard to get a magic show on television. What’s even harder is finding an audience for your magic television show and getting to season two.
That’s one of those good problems facing Dynamo. His series Magician Impossible is airing Thursdays at 9 p.m. GMT on the UK channel Watch. He talked to The Sun about expectations for the new episodes.
He says: “With the first series, I put everything into it. A lot of the ideas I had built up over the years.
“The expectation was set in the first series. It is so high now, series two really is like the ‘second album’.
“I have to come back harder. I have to show people that I’m not a one-trick pony… or one-trick magician.
“I have to deliver stuff that will make the audience think, ‘Yeah, his first series was amazing but this one is even better’. I have to mature as an artist, I have to get better.”
Tricks in this series include a freaky scene in which he takes a picture of a newlywed couple at a Las Vegas chapel — and then mysteriously appears in the snap.
The new series finds him all over the globe from the UK and Italy to Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Arizona.
Let’s see if Dynamo can continue to make a name for himself.
Dynamo returns to the UK airwaves with series two of Magician Impossible on Thursday, July 5th. But why wait until then? Check out a click from the premiere episode right now.
Dynamo has a new series of his Magician Impossible show in the offing and to drum up some publicity for it he’s rolled out a new Facebook application. Relying on a clever usage of your Facebook data and photos (you do have to agree to let the app access all of it) the trick ultimately leaves you with a few mementos.
According to UK social media news blog Wave, the app has been very successful in scaring up enthusiasm for the series.
No magic footage but plenty of excellent eye-popping visuals for Dynamo’s new series of Magician Impossible. Everything gets rolling July 5th on Watch.
This dropped today. It features London street magician Dynamo seemingly evaporating from under his clothes as his hoodie and pants fall the dance floor. He swears it is not a camera trick.
UK trickster Dynamo plays a little trick on a friend in this new commercial. He finds himself atop London’s Nelson’s Column, all whilst demonstrating the mobility of the new PS Vita in the process.
