Magician Gets BGT 2018′s First Golden Buzzer

While we need to wait for warmer weather before America’s Got Talent returns to the air, Britain’s Got Talent is already under way. Magician Marc Spelmann is definitely moving on to the live performance rounds as he received the first golden buzzer of the season. Okay, we can’t exactly use the word “classic” in good conscience with this clip, but we have a soft spot in our hearts for 1980′s Terror Train, starring the 1980′s greatest scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis and this weekend’s birthday boy, David Copperfield.

The Palm Beach Post recently carried this video, a clip from the show Big Blue Marble featuring a young magic and his magic teacher. The young magician, Jeffrey Scott (now CEO of Olympic Insurance), posted this to Vimeo. Of course his magic teacher is an 18 year old David Copperfield!
