While not quite as big in the US as it is in the UK, Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day is here! We can’t promise any magic in NBC’s special tonight, which is described as a mix of comedy and music, but it is a great cause (which you can learn more about on their website).

If any magicians out there are part of local Red Nose events please send us video or article links!

Jason Dean Could Use A Hand

Posted by Michael on December 29th, 2018

I honestly was talking to someone just the other day about what ever happened to Jason Dean… Before he came into national magic scene prominence I remember him working at a Blue Springs magic shop I’d visit whenever I was in the Kansas City area visiting in-laws. Unfortunately, the answer came in an email from Aaron Fisher’s Conjuror Community this morning: Jason’s multiple sclerosis has taken a turn for the worst. Jason needs some help to try an experimental stem cell therapy… Please visit this page set up by Conjuror Community for more information and to make a contribution if you can.

And Jason if you read this: I know you don’t remember me and that is fine. Important thing is I can understand what you are facing. I had an undiagnosed illness for years that was stealing my mobility, my fine motor skills and more. I was lucky enough to find my answers start to reclaim the life I wanted and I sincerely hope you are able to as well… but until then, I know it is hard. I know there are days that just crush you. But keep on pushing, keep on fighting! I believe you can find your answers and start to reclaim your life, too.
