Brian Brushwood, host of Revision3’s Scam School and (along with iTricks editor Justin Robert Young) TWiT’s NSFW podcasts will make a return to Universal Studios Florida’s Halloween Horror Nights this year. From the looks of the publicity, Brushwood will perform two separate shows with totally different material during the evenings which is good news for people who have seen his act before.

Brian last performed at HHN in 2008, where he was nice enough to let us poke around and document his show.

Newsmaker Interview: The New Host Of The iTricks Clinic the iTricks Clinic is back! The first show will be May 17th! Listen to hear the first big guest!

Here is the final result of the photo shoot we creepily filmed. It is one of 48 incredible pictures taken by Curious Josh during the final days of Magic Vs. Science week at the Magic Castle.

We’re partial to this one of Andrew Maybe blowing liquid nitrogen smoke in Marilyn Manson’s face.

We would also like to take this time to publicly thank Rudy, Matt Patton, his Special Events crew, Jack Goldfinger and the rest of the Castle staff specifically those at the front desk and valet for being so patient with us. All of the performers including old friends like Bizzaro, Sperry, Kenner and Brushwood and new ones like Johan Stahl and Brett Loudermilk.

When the final curtain came down on Magic vs. Science week at the Magic Castle, it left behind a week the likes of which the venerable institution has never seen. iTricks learned over the weekend that only five days of Magic vs. Science (not including Saturday, the busiest) was enough to mint April 2010 as the most profitable April in the history of the Castle.

While the MC is seamlessly transitioning into another themed week of performances (The Magic of Israel begins tonight) there are already rumors of when some semblance of the MvS line-up could stage a repeat performance.

Even with the rough numbers in, the combination of talent and creativity presented by this bill paid massive dividends for the Magic Castle and we wouldn’t be shocked to see similar events like this before 2010 is out.

As for the original cast? Might they ever storm the Castle as a unit once again? As always, stay tuned…

While in LA, Brian Brushwood and your humble editor Justin Robert Young made their way to the Adam Carolla podcast studio to record an episode that will air in late May. While there, they recorded a tease for the episode in which Brian taught Justin how to eat fire. Justin didn’t listen. Enjoy.
