According to the New York Times, author Paul Auster will soon celebrate his 70th birthday by holding of reading of his latest novel in Miami with music from his daughter and a little magic from friend David Blaine.

Finally, out of Toledo, The Blade is reporting that local magician David Sieja has passed away. He was a 50 year member of the IBM and the Toledo Society of Magicians will perform a broken wand ceremony at his funeral tomorrow.
