Dan Delzell, a pastor and contributor to the Christian Post, has written a new column on Christian illusionists. In a July 8th column Delzell opined that Dynamo’s levitation alongside a bus (tastefully plastered with the Pepsi Max logo) was a genuine levitation. He then went on to explain how demonic forces can seduce magicians, young girls with ouija boards and others dabbling with the supernatural.
However, in his July 22nd column Delzell clarifies that Christian magicians are merely using trickery and illusion to help spread their message. He even draws a parallel between their use of magic and his use of freestyle rap to spread his evangelistic message.
So now you know.
