Of all the magicians we tend to cover on this site, Derren Brown has done the most public talking about being gay. Which is an odd thing to type. As it really shouldn’t be his job to do it and it’s odd that we (or I) have a measurement in my head of who has done it the most. But, it does come in handy for situations like this.
In the United Kingdom, a proposal to legalize same sex marriage is working it’s way through the legal system. In the video above, Brown shows his support for the cause by promoting the #Out4Marriage hashtag.
His delivery is far more off-the-cuff than his normal varnished patter which works for what is a currently a hot-button issue affecting him personally.
