Seriously.
On the CBC it got an anchor drenched after Teller threw a glass of water on him. In 1994 it got this presenter slapped in the face, albeit playfully.
The last time we found one of these clips we emailed Teller to find out what the deal was and here was his response.
…that was inspired by the episode long ago where Randi told someone he would get headlines in an Australian newspaper if he said the word “naked” prominently and threw water on the host.
Very little we do is ever utterly by chance.
And thus… he still gets attention for the interview nearly 18 years after it aired. Pretty clever.
