He’s manipulated countless people on matters big and small. He’s paid for items with paper, influenced ad men and this week will convince one man that the world is ending.
So Derren Brown knows payback time is coming.
Brown admitted…: “I’m overdue something like that.”
This came after his performance last Friday with The IT Crowd actor Chris O’Dowd and his wife Dawn Porter during a Cancer charity. He made the newly minted husband select a series of paint ball guns, point them at his wife and pull the trigger. Only one was loaded.
Brown has a plan on how to avoid such well-deserved punishment for crimes like that.
“The trick will be to retire quietly before anything like that happens, before I outstay my welcome, which I’m sure some would say I already have! I’ll quietly disappear before anybody does that.”
