Easily the most buzzed about magic show to come out of the Magic Castle in the last few years contained the combination of Derek Delgaudio and Helder Guimarães. We can’t remember getting more email or feedback from a show originating at the Castle.
And now, the duo will bring their act beyond the clubhouse walls and set up shop at the Geffen Theater for a run entitled Nothing To Hide. It will be produced by Castle President and suave icon Neil Patrick Harris.
“I dare say, watching Derek and Helder perform together was one of the most amazing, confounding, and magical nights of my life,” said director Neil Patrick Harris. “I knew after seeing the reaction from Magic Castle guests and magicians alike that I needed to bring their show to a larger audience. I suspect it will be a tough ticket to get and those that do will have their minds utterly blown.”
The show opens November 27th and will close in early January. Harris will direct.
