We got a couple days until Halloween and we figured we’d dig back into the vault to bring out some of our favorite spooky routines. What better way to kick things off than Simon Drake.
Simply put: Simon Drake is my hero. The bold artistic direction that he took with his Secret Cabaret program still stands up and this routine is no exception. Silent, bizarre, magically asymmetrical and politically incorrect.
Drake never gets mentioned enough as a revolutionary when it comes to television magic and that’s a shame. In his honor we kick off our list of clips on the road to Halloween.
