Melbourne’s magic festival is set to open July 2nd and with it will come a plethora of Aussie acts and an increase on last years’ tally of roughly 10,000 attendees.
As far a we can figure, this would be the among the largest public festivals focusing exclusively on magic anywhere in the world. If I’m wrong on that, please correct in the comments.
Either way, it should be a good time. Recent Magic Castle Award Winner Helder Guimaraes is the featured international guest as he performs his one-man show along with a magicians only lecture. The line up also features tons of kids and family shows, which probably accounts for a sizable amount of the public audience.
