The relationship between Harry Houdini and Arthur Conan Doyle is a complicated one, some even theorize that the author might have directly contributed to the legendary magician’s death. A new book traces the two men with a specific eye toward their shared fascination of the paranormal and very different beliefs in it’s validity.

Oops! Something went wrong. - YouTube.jpg

A popular magic channel on YouTube has been suspended. Free Magic Live hosted by Jay Jay was suspended by the video host giant in mid October. According to a press release pleading for reinstatement, FML featured 200 videos and over 14 million total views, with 75,000 new views coming in each month.

Visitors to page are now greeted with the following message “This account has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s policy against spam, scams and commercially deceptive content.”

We can’t say we are familiar withe Jay Jay’s work but we can’t help but wonder if his account was flagged by users as inappropriate for one reason or another or if it was a YouTube pull.

Where does Grammy Award winner and colonic enthusiast Richard Marx like to head to unwind? Why, David Copperfield’s private island Musha Cay of course.

Q: What is the greatest vacation spot you’ve ever been to?

A: David Copperfield’s island, Musha Cay. It’s extremely pricey, but we were David’s guests one weekend last year. He and I are longtime friends. It’s hands down the most perfect spot I’ve ever experienced. Because of his lifetime of worldly travel, David has expertly collected the best of everything and installed it all in one spot. It’s the ultimate in quality from the bed linens, to the food, to the best jet skis, to the soaps in the bathrooms. There’s an outdoor drive-in movie theater, and they’ll also set up lunch on a sand barge in the middle of the water. Amazing. Can’t recommend it enough.

Musha will always be right here waiting for you Richard.
