Michael Grasso was the better magician on the show before he even mentioned the kidney problem. Its a shame Burton couldn't say anything nice about Michael

because all his magician friends that were on the show were losers and now he is afraid he is gonna take over his job in Vagas.

Well Guess what your right. He made it to the finals and you didn't.

He made history and now your gonna take a step back and make room for Michael.

No matter what you say about its a 50 50 which you are wrong its like a football game its who has the most points goes home the winner.

    I'm behind on 2 iTricks and 1 Weirdthings….the guilt is overwhelming…IT IS!…I kid you NOT..lol
Back to the topic…please tell me this is not about cliques as Crow has suggested?

Ok, finally got to listen to this…great job JRY…this is your calling for sure. I've been listening to that rasp for quite some time now…could you please assure me it's been investigated? You make me want to cough…lol
In regards to the podcast: I don't really think that Grasso's kidney problems make his magic any better. I do however see that in this competition, heart strings play a role in votes (evident with why Resvito is no longer on the show). But I do think he has earned his right to be there. Even prior to Murray's train illusion, I felt that Murray was lacking some connection with the audience that was difficult to place words to, but yet you felt it. It was methodical I suppose…somewhat surgical in deliverance….surgical method? I'm searching to describe the feeling. I'm sure you get what I mean. Michael Grasso makes you feel like he is giving you something…not showing you something. I suppose that is the difference. This feels deep…was this too deep?lol

it really is sad to watch the inner clique of the magic community gang up on mr. grasso. he's by far the most charismatic, stylish, and REAL magician in a generation. the look, class, and skills of the true greats….slydini. thurston. etc.

murray is cold as ice. no personality. arrogant. boring. nothing real or honest about him. and quite frankly….rude. if you watched him dissing grasso in the vegas show WHILE grasso was performing…(performing some next level card manips, something that murray or any of the illusionists to ever appear on agt could never dream of doing.)

to this horrible, shallow, vapid blogger or whatever who did this podcast…wow…you must be REALLY good friends with murray. shame on you for tarnishing magic with your pettiness.

what this comes down to is simple…murray and anyone else can try and buy their way to stardom. but there's one thing you can't buy…

    talent

and grasso has plenty of that. and his card work shows years of dedication. he's just got “it”. real people love him. the inner circle “magic world” mocks and demeans him. thank god the audience decides who's the best and who they want to pay for…

these cloistered hacks at itricks. magic castle. vegas. have been in control too long. you're the reason people don't like magicians. michael grasso is the reason people love magic

To be fair: the host of the podcast, me, raved about Grasso both on the analysis and the video page. Nathan Burton's opinion is that of a man who has been in Grasso's shoes.

I root for good magic, I root for Grasso.

WOW! That was a little uncalled for…
