There is something we really enjoy about reading a spectator description of a magic trick. Take this example, David Blaine was at a party for Sundance Channel’s series Iconoclasts and did his thing, here is how it was written up:
Father-to-be David Blaine stole the show at Grey Goose and Sundance Channel’s party for their “Iconoclasts” series at new Midtown hot spot Lavo. The illusionist impressed guests, including Uma Thurman and Vera Farmiga, on Tuesday night by bringing a pack of cards and a pocket of quarters to show off his skills. An onlooker said: “David put a quarter in one woman’s hand and bent it in half by just putting his hand over hers and closing his eyes. Everyone was amazed.” The prestidigitator later performed card tricks for actress Julianne Moore.
