Turns out you still can run away with the circus. Zachary Coles, aged 13, won a contest held by a local television station to earn a guest spot with a local touring show Cirque Dreams Illumination as a magician. Turns out, after his ceremonial spot in the show, the top brass liked him so much they’re keeping him on.
Cirque Dreams’ company manager said it was atypical to ask their local guest to stay for more than one show.
“You only hear about this kind of thing. It never actually happens to you,” Coles said, astounded at winning and being asked to participate in the remainder of the shows.
“It was just like a dream come true.”
Coles stayed on through the duration of the local run of Illumination and performed card tricks in the lobby during intermissions.
For those inclined, we now know at least two of the topics to be covered this season on the Showtime docu-series BS.

Remember Mike? The audience member of the Ellen show that got pulled out of the audience for a bit and wow’d the chat show sprite? Well, now he needs your help.

We are really amazed at how many ways people are coming out the word work to scare up some cash to help the Haitian relief effort. Ellusionist is offering a Red Arcane Porper Clip. It is described thusly:
