Remember when David Blaine spent over a month in a box over London? Stuart Kettell does, which is why he’s going to recreate the stunt on a slightly smaller scale for charity. Kettell will spend a week in a see-through box in an effort to raise money for charity.

He will not take anything into the box except a sleeping bag, a mobile phone for emergencies and a bucket to hoist up any food and drink which people donate.

At 6ft 2in he is only able to stand up straight in the centre of the box, which has been created by Coventry Construction.

Stuart, of Binley, said: “The question everyone has been asking is what will I do about going to the toilet.

“I’ll have a camping portable toilet which has a battery operated flush. There will be a shower curtain so I’ll have a bit of privacy when using it.”

Kettell has previously kayak’d and penny farthing’d insane distances for charity. His box stunt will take place from March 21-28th in 2010.

  • will be looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
