Penn & Teller will play New York City for the first time in nearly a decade when the take the stage at a charity event entitled “35 Years of Magic & BS” on November 12th. The magic icons will mostly lecture but also scatter a few tricks through the performance which will benefit VH1′s Save The Music foundation.
“Our first ticketed show in NYC in over 9 years (that’s almost 10!) will be a Q&A for P&T with a few classic bits thrown in for good measure,” Jillette explained in a recent statement. “We wanted to donate magic equipment, but we were convinced all the cool kids want to play music. Oh, and yes, Teller WILL speak.”
Considering New York City’s stance on the subject of guns, we’re going to assume that they won’t end with the Bullet Catch. Very exciting news for anyone in the NYC area.
