Well Crow: You said you were leaving before, then you came back, to respond to this idiot. Now, you're leaving again, boo hoo. With over 150 posts on the other thread, and a record number here, how do you say you're the only one who responds? Maybe you have an ego like Criss. I think Justin is great too, he lets everybody post, even if we don't agree with what were supposed to agree too. You might be better posting on the A&E site. There, everybody who loves Criss is wonderful. They pay $99. for a membership in his fan club. So now, if we ever meet, what will you do, beat me up? Are we threatening each other? I'm childish? You dared me to show where Criss was a fraud, I think I did by your own definition. You have no influence over me, I was doing this long before I read your posts. You know Hal your an Idiot. You have one sided views, and you refuse to admit to default.

You took the fun out of this site though. You offended me with your views on Angel. So I tried talking to you like an adult. Then you bashed Burton which led me to the belief that you have not one good thing to say about any of us. Then you offended me with your views on Myself for what I believe you think was defending Angel. So I lost it and enjoyed talking down to a little man. Cuss that's all you are is a little man.

Now I look at everything and realize that I am as much to blame on the discomfort that may be felt in these threads as you are. I keep pushing you. I enjoy looking at the stupidity that you show off cuss i had a vendetta against you. Your actions are easily predictable cuss you know nothing of what you talk about. Which is why half the time no one responds to you but me. Not cuss your right. Its cuss they have nothing to prove to you. I now notice neither do I. You were just a great way to pass time.

But for what may be enjoyment for me may not be for others. And I don't like to make good respectable people feel uncomfortable. So now I can either keep this crap going, or I can end it the right way and walk away. That's just what I'm going to do. I know more then anyone that you cant keep this whole crap going forever. And I don't want to influence you to keep going either. So I'm going to quit posting on ITricks. I have nothing but respect and love for Justin R. Young and the rest of the crew. So I feel the best way to respect them is to leave the drama out of their work. So I guess you win Hal, for as long as your posting on this site I wont be. (I will still be an avid reader of the story's. There is no better site to get the low down in the magic community then ITricks)

Just do your self favor Hal if you ever find your self in the same place as me, Don't introduce your self to me. See I'm not like Angel. I wont bring the Trash Talkers on to a show and prove them wrong. I wont try to prove them in any way. I grew up around Bikers, I got into bar's long before I was even 18 and my one of my first jobs was in a Tattoo Shop. So I was raised that if someone talks trash, knock them out. Crow: You are amazing after all. You give me the youtube video of Copperfields House illusion, and claim there are 4 camera tricks used. How does the 'LIVE' audience of hundreds get fooled with camera tricks? What did the cameras do except switch from one to another? There were no time lapses. It was done in real time, by a 'REAL' performer. Check Copperfield on Wikipedia. He has sold more tickets than any performer, not only magic acts. Then, you give the Criss Angel building levitation. Is your vision bad, look at the #$%$#% video. There are so many things wrong with it, you have to be illiterite not to see them. From start to finish, it's so screwed up, it's a pity. The accomplishments of Copperfield over his career make Angel's 'Magician of the Whatever' awards look like toilet paper. His ridiculous SPOV is just that. Of the top 100 magicians, Criss is #99, and the 100th died long ago. For crying out loud, wake up and see the truth. The guy sucks.

Shame is, there aren't that many Criss Angel threads. We see Derren and Penn & Teller videos, doing 'as you see them' tricks, all we see of Criss is about bad reviews, or making the top 10, whick has been some time ago. I would love to see Criss tale a 'Legitimate' lie detector test.

The first 2 videos are of David Copperfield performing a Great illusion. Ill tell you just by watching it I know of at least 4 Camera Tricks that were used to create the effect for TV.

The Last Video is of Criss Angel Doing his building to building Levitation in which he only uses 1 camera tick (Forced Perception) to create this effect for TV.

If you were intelligent and relaxed and processed everything I have been saying from the moment I first started responding to you you would find that I agreed with you. Your perception was right, your theory's were and still are wrong. But you want to make out to believe that you are the most intelligent person in the magic community so you fight anyone that disagrees with you in any way. But you have admitted to just trying to gain attention. you keep pointing out to everyone that the threads that you post in are the largest most commented ones out there. Tim is right beyond reason when he says that your preaching to the wrong crowd. Haven't you noticed that the only people who respond to you are the same 4 or 5 people constantly? And all of them are arguing against you? What are you really trying to point out? Your trying to tell a group of magicians stuff they already know? No one cares about what your saying in here. We all know how the effects are done. A couple of people who read this site invented the effects for Angel. So what is your true purpose for being on this site? You have none...

As for the "Definition" The Definition for the word Fraud fits for every magician threw out history. Other then the unlawful gain part. Angel is a Magician. He does Magic Tricks. Doesn't matter if you don't believe it. Your opinion is that he's only a TV magician. Well sorry to burst your bubble but there are many Magicians out in the world that only look good on TV. Copperfield uses a giant projector and cameras in his live show. And yes Angel has made Millions of dollars... Copperfield makes over 8 million a year.

When Copperfield was in his prime everyone was making the same complaints that you are trying to make now. "He uses camera tricks!" "Hes not a real magician" But I have even seen you say that Copperfield was a great magician. So again what is your reasoning for bashing only Criss Angel in a magicians blog?

I don't defend Angel. I don't like the guy. I just really enjoy debating against stupidity. I gave you definition for the word Fraud, and I don't see where you get off calming that Angel is a fraud. But no other magician is? And every time I ask you you have no response! (You only try to attack my spelling which I have explained to you in past many times. But yet you feel like your attacking me just like a child in high school. By the way I stopped treating you like an adult when you stopped acting like one...) So your argument is futile. But you have yet to explain in detail your view on why Angel is a Fraud. You cant just go out and say... ANGEL IS A FRAUD! With out having logical explanation for why. Its as if I were to say Tom Cruse is Gay! Is he? How do I know? Have I seen him with a guy? No! So how can I make a claim like that?

I told you Directly in the past that Angel Uses camera tricks, so does Copperfield, Henning, Brown, Blackstone and every other magician that appears on TV. Like I say your view of camera tricks is far different then mine. The true definition of Camera Tricks in magic lingo is Forced Perception! So what makes Angel so different? So what unfair or unlawful gain has Angel gained from what he does? Use the definition above and please give me and everyone with in the terms of that definition a logical reason why he is a fraud. TIMOTHYDRAKE: I think your post was the most sensible in quite a while. For people like FIF, your statement is correct. She couldn't care less if Criss confessed he's a fraud. But, believe it or not, I have shown some loyal fans what he is. One is going back to Vegas in 3 weeks. She saw beLIEve, and says she wouldn't go again if they paid her. I've shown her and others how Criss does his "Demonstrations". Not all his fans, or former fans are air heads.
Timothy: Why do I do this? How many years did Randi spend debunking Uri Geller? He was entertaining his fans also, with his mind spoon bendind and starting watches, and all his other crap. Randi exposed him and the phony psychics to everybody, not just magicians. I don't have the resourses Randi does, but I think all these con artists should be exposed to everybody, Angel certainly included. Many people must want to know, the Masked Magician was a high rated show twice, 10 years ago and recently. Why did he pick on so many Criss Angel tricks, maybe because they were so easy to re-create. He didn't do the Statue of Liberty, or 'Flying', he did the Building Levitation, Wood Chipper, Hummer, Elephant Appearing, Walking on water, etc. The bad tricks of Criss, that didn't take much brains to figure out. I'm glad to see you admit that Criss is a video magician, I still can't understand, if as you say, magicians all know this, how can anybody in magic support this fraud, please give me a hint.

At the risk of getting dragged into this further I can't help but toss my 2 cents in.

HAL.... You are correct when you talk of Criss's camera tricks. Every magician in the business knows this. Crow knows this. I know this. Paul Daniels knows this and so does anyone who ever performed magic ( over the age of 17) . There is no debate in the magic community about if Angel uses camera stuff. NONE! We all know he does. There is debate however if it fair or not and that is a different topic.

If me saying this upsets Criss's fans well I can only say.. Sorry but this IS a magic forum and I am not posting this in Criss fan forums. I will not apologize for discussing issues of magic in a magic forum. ( where it belongs)

Your problem as I see it is that you are trying to preach to the wrong people. Fans of Criss like the whole package. The man, the bling , the magic, the look..etc. If they discover the truth about the camera tricks much later they will just smile and say..." Oh well..... I had a lot of fun believing and being entertained". For now you are just seen as raining on their parade and they won't want to hear it. It really is a waste of time. CA fans will not believe you so why bother trying to convince them? Let them have their fun.

Yo FIF, It was Bonnie Tyler who did that song. You remember Bonnie 'I'm holding on for a hero' Tyler? LOL. Criss had to alter her voice because David Copperfield bought the exclusive rights, copyrights, trademarks, patents, hair dye etc.. on her singing on another magicians trick. I think he's now working on trying to pass a bill not allowing any blonde woman to assist any magician in any trick unless it's with David only.

I think you should check your facts Crow: Valentino had the first “Secrets of Magic Revealed” show about 10 years ago, long before Criss Angel was a twinkle in the eyes of these gullible Loyals. He revealed secrets of old standard tricks, by all magicians, Criss wasn't even included. In the later version in the past year or so, they did many of Criss tricks, but many of us already knew how Criss did them. Criss doesn't do anything new, he simply changes the trick a little, and claims it's his. Why was he being sued over the van escape? He did the bike vanish on the recent Mindfake. Look on youtube, you'll see 10 magicians doing the same thing. I saw Copperfield do it many years ago live. And Crow, you really think I was going to jump in a wood chipper, maybe street magicians have no sense of humor? You say my name will never be known, I don't see your name anywhere but here on iTricks. Is your name really Crow? And again, my grammar isn't perfect, but please see the difference between 'through and threw'. Threw, is like “I threw the tomato at Criss during beLIEve. And Justin, “SOME” video editng?????? How many Mindfake shows do you think he could do if he really had to do 'as you see' tricks. He proved that with beLIEve, starting out with 5 illusions, and the 'Implosion' joke. I get hysterical when Criss does things like the toothpick vanish, and then lets us in on the amazing secret, right after the commercials….The suspense was killing me. This is for his 6 year old loyals who repeated first grade. Guessing the crayon color was another great feat. I hope the tricks in his $74. magic kit are at least for teenagers, and the rubber bands included.
