Dynamo is featured in the most recent addition of Wired’s UK edition talking about the online flourishing community. Here’s a quote…

“Magic used to be about the Vegas showman, but now things are getting a bit cooler and some of the established magicians see flourishing as a threat. They think that magic and flourishing shouldn’t mix – that magicians should look magical, as if they don’t have special skills. But they are slowly realising that we are too powerful to be taken on.

The article also gives shout outs to Decknique and .thecuso. Very cool stuff.

After reading the article, I have to say that Dynamo has a very distorted idea of other magicians. Really, how many magicians continue pulling rabbits out of top hats? Also, many Vegas magicians also do card flourishing. I remember seeing David Copperfield and he even did a couple simple flourishes such as the card spring. Jeff McBride does a lot of card flourishes. They may not be the same type as Dynamo does, but flourishes none the less.

We aren't in a battle as Dynamo seems to assume.
