It appears that people have started to notice that there are hidden messages encoded onto the Derren Brown ‘Enigma’ posters.

A number of videos have been uploaded onto YouTube showing that many of the posters when viewed under UV light reveal a hidden message. According to Derren Brown’s blog:

So finally after quite a few weeks some of you picked up on the hidden UV code in the posters that has triggered off the next competition by uploading it to You Tube and identifying the hidden word SOLOS/ROTOR/KAYAK etc in BRAILE in UV.

In another ‘we’re not quite sure whats going on but..’ some people have managed to work out what the hidden messages mean, revealing more websites instructing them to ‘await further instructions..’, and something about a rabbit, and a competition.

chrisamon - those calls might be additional clues to the competition, if you're interested in sharing thoughts and theories you might be interested in a forum a few of have set up: http://dbchat.forumotion.co.uk. Apparently, cooperation is essential for this long-running "ARG"!

A friend of mine bought a poster and signed up, he's been getting unusual phonecalls since about Friday I think?

Yes. I bought a poster and signed up to a website called SOLOS after reading about it on another blog. Since then I've had a few phone calls from a guy who said he's been taken somewhere. Not really sure how that counts as a competition. Bit weird really, don't even know what the prize is.

The way that Derren Brown thinks reminds me a lot of the way Jigsaw thinks from the SAW movies. Not in the psycho killer way, but in the always one step ahead of the game, playing to your every move kind of way.

He never fails to impress me with his thinking, cleverness and originality.
