Lance Smolders In New Ads

All over magazines and billboards you can find a new run of advertising for Lance Burton’s show at the Monte Carlo. A slightly darker and more mysterious version of the man who formally looked much more formal in press material.

    Call me a downer, but I really hope Lance isn't going the way of Blaine and Angel, etc. etc. Not anything wrong with those guys, but Lance had an image – he was a good ol' Southern boy with a big white smile and a sparkle in his eye, and he had a family friendly show that was clean as a very clean whistle. To change his image and character now just to play to the trend of the dark and moody magician (which, come on, is not exactly “original” by this point), would be a real let down. Stick to who you are!
