There are 3 main purposes of this site.
1. To create a database of magicians and people with an interest in magic in Ireland so that all the societies can get information to the entire magic community in Ireland. By doing so, lectures and events open to non-members get maximum exposure.
2. To enable prospective visitors and lecturers to get a grasp on magic in Ireland and provide up to date contact information for societies.
3. To provide local interest news stories to the community.
In particular, if any American lecturers are interested in doing an Irish and UK tour <cough>Bizzaro</cough> they can find all the contact details for the Irish societies and something can be arranged.
