As we reported previously a small band of magicians had a ‘Magic Trek’ which involved a 100 mile walk for charity finishing at the world famous Magic Circle in London.
One of the walkers, Rod Newman had vowed to do a death-defying underwater escape if his team of entertainers raised £5,000 on the 100-mile trek, so far the walk has raised over £6000 for The Anthony Nolan Trust.
Fulfilling his promise, Hampshire based magician and Magic Circle member, Rob Newman will be escaping from a strait jacket, inside a mail sack secured with a steel bar and padlocks in the 10 foot deep pool at Andark Diving Centre, 256 Bridge Road, Lower Swanwick, Southampton SO31 7FL this Sunday, 28th June, at 4pm
You can of course still donate money to the appeal by visiting www.anthonynolanevents.org.uk/magictrek
