New Penn And Teller Game A Fake

Posted by Editor on February 27th, 2007

Cash In is BS

Penn and Teller Cash In, which we reported last week would be the PS3 sequel to the duo’s unreleased Sega CD game Smoke and Mirrors is apparently a hoax. This comes from P and T’s press agent who added that the reports of a new game are “completely untrue.”

No additional word yet on the rumored release of Smoke and Mirrors although if you want to get a look at the title scene, feel free to take a peak courtesy of our international team of video wranglers at iTricks.TV.

Thanks again to the Penn and Teller team for clearing things up.

Correction: Penn Only A Possibility To Appear At Charity Function

Posted by Editor on February 26th, 2007

Penn Jillette

According to Penn and Teller’s press agent, Penn is only a possibility to appear at a fundraiser for Tommy Urbanski, who is still in critical condition after being shot in a fracas involving NFL star Pacman Jones while on the job bouncing at a Las Vegas gentlemen’s club during the NBA’s All-Star weekend. We are also told that if he does appear, he will not be performing.

Dog’s “Samoa Knot” Sunk Angel, Rematch Accepted

Posted by Editor on February 26th, 2007

"Hawaiin Bounty Hunter" Dog Chapman

New details have emerged about Criss Angel’s failed escape attempt at the hands of Dog the Bounty Hunter. According to a press release, seemingly from Dog’s camp, the escape was part of a cross promotion and filmed in front of a live audience. The proceedings could air on both of the upcoming new seasons for the hit A & E shows, since both crews were reportedly on hand along with network brass.

Duane “Dog” Chapman apparently employed a “Samoa knot” (which we have yet to find a definition for) to foil Angel’s attempt to free himself while submerged in a pool at the Luxor. Angel had challenged the bounty hunter, accompanied by his wife and kids, to secure him as tight as possible before pushing him into the water. The press release quotes an Angel official as saying this is Criss’ first blown magic trick in 15 years.

The good news for Angel fans, Dog has accepted a rematch to take place in Hawaii. However it did come with a quote that is sure to give The Loyal plenty to talk about…

“So, that’s Hawaiian bounty hunters ONE, magic guy NONE!”

iTricks.TV Pick Of The Day: Are You Ready To Get Klok’d?

iTricks.TV

If this two minute promo reel doesn’t give you a very good idea of what you can expect from the new Klok/Carmen show in Vegas then you may not be as perceptive as you’ve been telling people. Those seeking more context should watch this interview with the pair where they talk about the big new gig.

It beats out an Barry and Stuart’s hilarious mugging prevention course and a French Ledda box for our favorite clip uploaded in the last 24 hours.
